President Obama

The President’s job approval rating in Gallup on September 23 was 49% approval and 45% disapproval.

The public’s grade for the job President Obama is doing (as found by Gallup) is lower than that of 5 of the previous Presidents at this point in their first term. The list of 8 follows.

By 51% to 47% Americans continue to rate Obama negatively on the economy. This is the lowest disapproval rating on the economy since March of this year. On foreign policy, 49% approve of the job Obama is doing; 46% disapprove of his performance. This is the lowest positive rating and highest negative rating he has received since April 2011.
