The public’s grading of President Obama’s job approval, as found by Gallup on 10/23/16, is 57% approval/ 40% disapproval. A year ago it was 43% approval/51% disapproval. Peter Hart makes the point that Dwight Eisenhower, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton did little to help the person who was trying to succeed them. Obama is turning heaven and earth in support of Hillary Clinton.
